About

I graduated from Chadron State College in May 2017 with a communications degree. I work at Clay County News in Sutton as sports editor!

I love taking pictures and sharing my pictures. I use this page and my Facebook page to share pictures with others.

I started this #LikeItsWorthIt trend in March 2017, around wrestling season, when I was asked to put together a slideshow of pictures at the district tournament hosted in St. Paul, NE, where my brother was a senior at the time.
I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember, and of my brother specifically since the beginning of his athletic career and I enjoy doing it!

This slideshow job at district wrestling was the first big showcase of my pictures and I wanted to make it memorable.

I used the hashtag #WrestleLikeItsWorthIt at the end of my slideshow.

This saying came from some shirts my mom designed for wrestling fans in 2015. This was the first wrestling season after a great friend, mentor, and role model of my family passed away in a car accident.

That friend was someone special to everyone he met, especially to my brother.

He lived his life like it was worth it in everything he did. He wrestled like it was worth wrestling for. He played football like it was worth it. He fished like it was worth it, and he simply lived his life like it was worth living.

He showed my family and the world how important our lives are and how special we are that we get to spend time on this earth. He showed us that we should treat our lives like they are worth living and that we should truly enjoy every moment we get on this earth.

He simply lived like it was worth it.

I created this page to showcase my pictures, but the reason I chose to call it Like It’s Worth It was because I wanted a chance to honor someone who truly showed me what it meant to live on this earth and truly changed the lives of everyone he met.

I called this page Like It’s Worth It because no matter what you are doing, you should do it like it’s worth it and you should live like he did.

My goal for all of this is to simply encourage others to live everyday like it’s worth living.
